Description

These Ham and Cheese Sliders are a delightful combination of savory ham, melted Swiss cheese, and buttery Hawaiian rolls, perfect for gatherings or quick meals.


Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 8 slices of ham
  • 8 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  3. Layer the ham and Swiss cheese on the bottom half of the rolls.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter, Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, and chopped onions.
  5. Pour the butter mixture over the assembled sliders.
  6. Place the top halves of the rolls on and brush with any remaining butter mixture.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the tops are golden brown.
  9. Serve warm.

Notes

For best results, allow sandwiches to sit for a few minutes before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze for longer storage.
