Description

Ingredients

  • 1 head of cabbage, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the shredded cabbage to the pan and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes, until it begins to soften.
  4. Mix the soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  5. Pour the sauce over the cabbage and stir to combine.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cabbage is tender and the sauce is evenly coated.
  7. Remove from heat, garnish with sesame seeds, and serve warm.

Notes

Cut the cabbage into uniform pieces for even cooking. Add red pepper flakes for heat if desired.
