Description

A delightful combination of flaky pastry with rich spinach and creamy feta, perfect for snacks or appetizers.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 puff pastry sheet
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • A pinch of nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Wash the spinach thoroughly and chop it finely.
  2. Crumble the feta cheese into a bowl.
  3. Mix the chopped spinach with the feta, seasoning with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into squares.
  5. Place a spoonful of the spinach and feta mixture in the center of each square.
  6. Fold the corners over to create a triangle or rectangle and seal the edges with a fork.
  7. Brush the tops with an egg wash.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
