Description

A hearty and customizable bowl that combines the classic flavors of a smash burger with crispy potatoes and fresh toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (lean preferred)
  • 1 lb red potatoes, diced
  • 12 cups shredded cheddar or Colby Jack cheese
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce or mixed greens
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 12 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow or Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
  • Pickles (optional)
  • Extra lettuce (for serving)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Toss the diced potatoes in olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place them in the air fryer and cook for 16–18 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-low heat and add olive oil.
  5. Add diced onions and cook for 10–15 minutes until soft and golden.
  6. Increase the heat to medium-high, add ground beef, and press into the pan.
  7. Cook for about 5–7 minutes until nicely browned, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  8. In a small bowl, whisk together mayo, ketchup, mustard, and Cajun seasoning.
  9. Layer crispy potatoes in bowls, then top with cooked beef, caramelized onions, and shredded cheese.
  10. Drizzle with sauce and finish with fresh lettuce and any additional toppings.
