Description

A delightful and refreshing drink combining sweet pineapple and tangy lemon flavors, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice (46 lemons)
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • ½ to ¾ cup granulated sugar (to taste)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 cup ice (plus more for serving)
  • Lemon & pineapple slices for garnish
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Juice the lemons, making sure to remove all seeds while retaining some pulp for texture.
  2. Mix together the freshly squeezed lemon juice and the pineapple juice in a large pitcher.
  3. Add the sugar and stir until it has fully dissolved.
  4. Pour in the four cups of cold water and give it another good stir.
  5. Include one cup of ice in the pitcher.
  6. Serve by filling glasses with additional ice and pouring the lemonade over it.
  7. Garnish each glass with a slice of lemon, a piece of pineapple, or a mint leaf.

Notes

For a fizzy twist, replace some of the water with club soda. Adjust sweetness with more sugar or lemon juice to taste.
