Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Peel, core, and slice apples into thin wedges.
  3. Toss apples with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares.
  5. Place each square on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Score a smaller square within each pastry square to create a border.
  7. Fill the center with the apple mixture.
  8. Beat an egg and brush the egg wash over the pastry border.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until puffed and golden.
