- 2 Russet potatoes, grated
- 1 tablespoon canola oil or avocado oil
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Wash and peel the potatoes before grating them.
- Rinse the grated potatoes under cold water to remove excess starch.
- Transfer the grated potatoes to a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out any moisture.
- Combine the grated potatoes with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a mixing bowl.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add oil.
- Spread the potato mixture evenly and cook until golden brown before flipping.
- Alternatively, place the mixture in an air fryer and cook according to the manufacturer’s guidelines for 15-20 minutes.
Notes
For an extra crispy texture, remove as much moisture as possible from the grated potatoes. You can also use sweet potatoes for a different flavor.
