Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat oil in a deep fryer.
- Mix honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, black pepper, and salt in a bowl to create the sauce.
- Season the chicken wings with a bit of salt.
- Fry the wings in hot oil until crispy and golden brown, about 10-12 minutes; if baking, place on a baking sheet and bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through.

- Serve hot as an appetizer or dinner.
Notes
For optimal results, marinate wings in the glaze for a few hours beforehand. Use a wire rack while baking for extra crispiness.
