Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Prepare jars and lids for canning.
  2. Combine tomatoes, jalapeños, onions, and garlic in a large pot.
  3. Add vinegar, salt, sugar, cumin, and black pepper.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes.
  5. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  6. Fill jars with hot salsa, leaving 1/2 inch headspace, and seal with lids.
  7. Process jars in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove jars and let cool completely.
  9. Store in a cool, dark place.
