Description

Delightful mini sandwiches featuring tender roast beef, savory caramelized onions, and creamy Swiss cheese on soft slider buns.


Ingredients

  • Roast beef
  • Slider buns
  • Caramelized onions
  • Swiss cheese
  • Au jus for dipping
  • Butter
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
  3. Layer the roast beef on top of the buns.
  4. Add caramelized onions and Swiss cheese on top of the beef.
  5. Place the top half of the buns over the fillings.
  6. Mix melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl and brush this mixture over the tops of the slider buns.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the tops are golden.
  9. Serve warm with au jus for dipping.

Notes

Don’t rush the caramelization of onions; low and slow brings out their sweetness. Explore different cheeses or add fresh herbs for added flavor.
