Ingredients
- Roast beef
- Slider buns
- Caramelized onions
- Swiss cheese
- Au jus for dipping
- Butter
- Garlic powder
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
- Layer the roast beef on top of the buns.
- Add caramelized onions and Swiss cheese on top of the beef.
- Place the top half of the buns over the fillings.
- Mix melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl and brush this mixture over the tops of the slider buns.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the tops are golden.
- Serve warm with au jus for dipping.
Notes
Don’t rush the caramelization of onions; low and slow brings out their sweetness. Explore different cheeses or add fresh herbs for added flavor.
