Description

A simple yet satisfying dish filled with creamy cheese and a rich tomato sauce, perfect for family dinners or casual gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  3. In a bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each cooked pasta shell with the cheese mixture.
  5. Spread half of the marinara sauce in a baking dish.
  6. Place the stuffed shells on top of the sauce, then cover with the remaining marinara sauce.
  7. Sprinkle extra mozzarella cheese on top if desired.
  8. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Consider adding sautéed vegetables or ground meat to the filling for customization. Serve with a garden salad or garlic bread.
