- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- In a bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each cooked pasta shell with the cheese mixture.
- Spread half of the marinara sauce in a baking dish.
- Place the stuffed shells on top of the sauce, then cover with the remaining marinara sauce.
- Sprinkle extra mozzarella cheese on top if desired.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Consider adding sautéed vegetables or ground meat to the filling for customization. Serve with a garden salad or garlic bread.
