Ingredients

  • 4 cups frozen cut green beans
  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • ⅔ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce (or ¼ teaspoon sea salt)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 ½ cups French fried onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×9 baking dish.
  2. Bring salted water to a boil in a medium pot. Use about ½ tablespoon of salt per quart of water.
  3. Add the frozen cut green beans and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Drain the beans thoroughly.
  5. Combine the drained green beans with the condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl. Mix well.
  6. Spread the mixture evenly into the greased baking dish.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining onions evenly on top and return to the oven for another 5 minutes.
