Instructions
- Peel and slice the onions thinly.
- Soak the sliced onions in cold water for about 30 minutes.
- Drain and pat the onions dry.
- Toss the onions with cornmeal, salt, and seasonings in a bowl.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
- Cook the onions in batches for about 10-15 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Check frequently to avoid burning.
- Let the crispy onions cool slightly.
