- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix flour with garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Beat the eggs in a second bowl.
- Place breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Dip each chicken tender first into the flour mixture, then into the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Place the coated tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer and spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through until the tenders are golden and crispy.
- Heat honey in a small pan over low heat while the chicken is cooking.
- Drizzle hot honey over the cooked tenders before serving.
Notes
For best results, do not overcrowd the air fryer. Ensure chicken tenders are patted dry for better coating adhesion.
