Description

A comforting dish that features fresh green beans, hearty potatoes, and crispy bacon, beautifully seasoned with ranch flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb fresh green beans (trimmed)
  • 4 cups baby potatoes (diced)
  • 6 slices bacon (chopped)
  • 1 onion (diced)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • ½ tsp dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the chopped bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Once done, set aside and reserve the drippings.
  2. Sauté the diced onion in the reserved drippings until it becomes translucent. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the diced potatoes to the skillet. Brown them for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Incorporate the green beans, ranch seasoning mix, thyme, rosemary, and chicken broth.
  5. Cover the skillet and simmer for 15–20 minutes or until the green beans and potatoes are tender.
  6. Stir in the reserved bacon, season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve warm.

Notes

For added flavor, consider sprinkling fresh herbs or Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
