A delicious and healthy way to meet your protein needs, these Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Bars are perfect for a snack or post-workout treat.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup oats, blended into flour
  • 1/4 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • 80g dark chocolate
  • 1 tsp coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the blended oats and vanilla protein powder in a large bowl.
  3. Add the melted coconut oil, honey or maple syrup, and smooth peanut butter. Stir until well combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes or until lightly golden.
  7. Melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil together for the topping.
  8. Pour the melted chocolate over the baked bars and spread it evenly.
  9. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
  10. Store in an airtight container.
