Description
Elegant chocolate-covered cherries filled with a sweet almond-flavored candy center. A delightful dessert that’s surprisingly easy to make at home.

- 1 lb Fresh cherries
- 1 tsp Almond extract
- 2 cups Powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup Heavy cream
- 12 oz Chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp Cocoa powder (optional)
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
Instructions
- Remove the stems from the cherries and pit them carefully.
- In a bowl, combine almond extract with powdered sugar and heavy cream to form a candy center mixture.
- Fill each cherry with a small amount of the candy center mixture.
- Melt chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
- Dip each stuffed cherry into the melted chocolate, making sure it’s completely coated.
- Place the chocolate-covered cherries on parchment paper to set.
- Allow them to chill in the refrigerator until the chocolate hardens.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
For the best results, work with cold cherries and keep the filling thick. Use quality chocolate for a better finish.
