Description

A creamy and flavorful chicken dish infused with fresh basil and garlic, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook in the skillet for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add chopped basil and stir to combine.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve garnished with Parmesan cheese.
