- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook in the skillet for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Add chopped basil and stir to combine.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve garnished with Parmesan cheese.
