- 2 chicken breasts
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Melt butter over medium heat in a large skillet.
- Add the chopped onion and garlic; sauté until softened.
- Push the onions to the side and add the chicken breasts, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until browned on both sides.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Add the egg noodles to the skillet, cover, and cook for 10-12 minutes until the noodles are tender and have absorbed most of the liquid.
- Stir everything together, garnish with parsley, and serve.
Notes
For optimal taste, consider using low-sodium chicken broth. You can also swap egg noodles for whole-grain or gluten-free noodles as needed.
