Description

Delightful Cheesy Taco Sticks blending taco flavors with crunchy pizza dough, perfect for gatherings or quick meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup taco seasoned ground beef
  • 1/2 cup refried beans
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, guacamole, chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut the dough into strips, approximately 2 inches wide and 6 inches long.
  4. Mix together the ground beef, refried beans, and salsa until well combined.
  5. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture and a sprinkle of cheese on each strip of dough.
  6. Roll the dough over the filling, pinching the ends to seal tightly.
  7. Place the rolled sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Brush the tops with egg wash for a golden finish.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until they are golden brown.
  10. Serve warm with sour cream and guacamole on the side.

Notes

Let the dough warm slightly before rolling it out for easier handling. Monitor them as they bake to achieve the perfect golden color.
