Description

A comforting dish filled with juicy meatballs, rich marinara sauce, and gooey cheese, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. In a saucepan, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat.
  6. Once the meatballs are done, add them to the sauce and stir gently to coat.
  7. Slice the hoagie rolls and place them on a baking dish.
  8. Fill each roll with meatballs and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  9. Toast in the oven for about 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, ensure meatballs are even in size and do not skip the toasting step for a great texture.
