- 4 Russet potatoes
- 1/4 cup Olive oil
- 1 cup Cheese (Cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup Crispy bacon, chopped
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup Green onions, chopped
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and slice the russet potatoes into thin rounds.
- Toss the potato slices with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Arrange the slices on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and top each slice with cheese, crispy bacon, Italian seasoning, and green onions.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
- Serve warm as a snack or appetizer.
Notes
For extra flavor, experiment with toppings such as smoked paprika or garlic powder. Let the slices cool slightly after baking to achieve even more crispiness.
