Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Coat each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  4. Place the chicken on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and crispy.
  6. Remove from the oven and top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Return to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
