Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup baking soda
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • Coarse sea salt (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Stir in flour and salt until the dough forms. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  3. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Roll dough into small bite-sized pieces.
  6. Bring water and baking soda to a boil in a pot.
  7. Boil pretzel bites for 30 seconds, then remove and place on paper towels.
  8. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with coarse salt.
  9. Air fry in batches for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
