Description
A simple and nutritious method for making perfectly cooked hard-boiled eggs using an air fryer.
Ingredients
- Fresh eggs
Instructions
- Gather fresh eggs from a trusted source.
- Place the eggs in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
- Set the temperature to 270°F (132°C) and cook for 15 to 17 minutes.
- Prepare an ice bath by filling a large bowl with ice and water.
- Transfer the eggs immediately to the ice bath once cooking time is up.
- Let them sit in the ice bath for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Crack each egg gently on a hard surface and roll under your palm to loosen the shell.
- Peel the eggs from the wider end, rinsing under cold water if necessary.
Notes
To enhance peeling, use eggs that are a week or two old. Adjust cooking time for a creamier yolk.
