Ingredients

- 300g pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 400g canned tomatoes
- 200g mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 50g grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- Add canned tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce.
- Transfer to a baking dish, top with mozzarella and parmesan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Feel free to add vegetables or protein such as cooked chicken or spinach for variety.
