Description

A comforting and hearty pasta bake that everyone will love.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 300g pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 400g canned tomatoes
  • 200g mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 50g grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté onion and garlic until soft.
  4. Add canned tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce.
  6. Transfer to a baking dish, top with mozzarella and parmesan.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Feel free to add vegetables or protein such as cooked chicken or spinach for variety.
