Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package pizza dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni (or other favorite toppings)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut it into rectangles.
  3. Spoon a small amount of pizza sauce on one half of each rectangle.
  4. Add mozzarella cheese and your desired toppings on top of the sauce.
  5. Fold the dough over to create a pocket and press the edges to seal.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with Italian seasoning if desired.
  7. Place the pockets on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For perfect results, avoid overfilling and maintain space between pockets during baking. Serve warm with dipping sauces.
