Description

Crack Chicken Tenders are an easy, indulgent dinner recipe that combines creamy ranch and cheesy goodness with a crunchy coating.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds chicken tenders, trimmed
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or mayonnaise)
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup crushed Ritz crackers (or panko breadcrumbs)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment. Lightly grease the sheet.
  2. In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt (or mayo), ranch seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper until smooth. Fold in half of the cheddar and half of the Parmesan.
  3. Place crushed crackers or panko in a shallow dish. Press each chicken tender into the yogurt mixture, then into the cracker crumbs, coating all sides. Arrange on the baking sheet with space between each piece.
  4. Spray the tops with cooking spray or brush lightly with oil. Bake for 12–16 minutes, flipping halfway for even browning, until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Let the tenders rest for three minutes before serving.

Notes

For variations, try adding hot sauce for Buffalo Crack Chicken Tenders or using gluten-free crackers for a gluten-free version.
