- 2 slices of bread
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 ripe avocado, mashed
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter for grilling
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken and mashed avocado. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread the chicken and avocado mixture evenly on one slice of bread.
- Top with shredded cheese and the other slice of bread.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter.
- Grill the sandwich on both sides until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the skillet, slice, and serve.
Notes
For a creamier filling, stir in sour cream or Greek yogurt. Adjust cheese type for preferred flavor intensity.
